Dwindling Choices

from Reptile Dysfunction by Tony Castellano

/

about

A song with a smooth 'Steely-Dan'-ish sound to it. The lyrics and basic vocal melody were written by Chris Duers of The Bud Collins Trio, and he also came up with the idea of the harmony guitar melodies, which I expanded upon.

lyrics

So what did you decide?
Can you see it now?
When you stare into the sky

All your chances
Never saw them right before your eyes
Now it’s too late to go back and change them all
Looking back up as you fall
Falling over in a dream
Falling down
Looks like your choices are dwindling away

All your chances
Never saw them right before your eyes
Now it’s too late to go back and change them all
Looking back up as you fall
Falling over in a dream
Falling down
Looks like your choices are dwindling away
