Figures / The Letdown

from Walking Like Rudy by Tony Castellano

/

about

This song was written and recorded at the same time as my debut EP "Fun-Size" in 1997 and was originally intended for a Mellotron compilation project that never saw the light of day for various reasons. It was a very difficult song to mix since it was constrained to only 16 tracks, but the task was made easier with the assistance of Ryan "Finch" Porter, where we actually 'punched-in' the mix in certain sections which were impossible to set up in a real-time 'on-the-flly' mixing situation.
